Pear Golden Spice 7G

The Golden Spice Pear is a deciduous tree known for its elegant oval habit and strong resistance to fireblight. This variety boasts showy white blooms in spring which are very attractive to pollinators.  Yellow pears with a red  blush may be harvested in late summer, early fall and are best for canning purposes. Leaves change to a rich burgundy in fall for added seasonal interest.
This variety requires a second variety of the same species to set fruit.

We recommend spraying with dormant oil before leaves emerge in spring to help rid the tree of any overwintering pests.
