Monstera deliciosa is a rock star of the houseplant world. This climbing evergreen is eye-catching with its broad glossy green leaves split with fenestrations that sit gracefully on top of long slender stems. This easy to care for houseplant uses aerial roots to help it climb and has moderate growth habit. It can grow 1-2' per year and in nature produces delicious, juicy fruit. Unfortunately as a houseplant fruiting is unlikely to occur.
This plant will benefit from a deep pot with good drainage, peat-based potting mix, bright indirect light and regular watering. It is best to let the top few inches of soil dry before watering.
