Monstera Thai Constellation 4"

Monstera Thai Constellation is a rare and difficult to find houseplant. Derived from the Monster Deliciosa, it variegation in the leaves makes it particular in terms of light requirement. Be sure to place your plant in a spot where it will get plenty of bright, indirect sunlight, as the white part of the leaf cannot absorb sunlight and the plant is forced to work harder to photosynthesize. Do not place in direct sunlight as this will result in burnt, damaged leaves.

Due to the variegation, this plant is slow growing. It will take several years for this plant to reach maturity.

It wants at least 60% humidity, which can be achieved in multiple ways: misting, pebble tray, humidifier and/or by grouping your plants together.

Cold is the enemy, do not allow your plant to be exposed to temperatures under 10°C. It's preferred range is between 18°C - 30°C. 

Water your plant about once a week - check to see if the top two inches of soil are dry before watering. Then water thoroughly allowing water to drain completely.  Do not allow your plant to sit directly in water as this will promote root rot.

Fertilize monthly during the spring, summer and fall. It will go dormant during the winter, at which point refrain from fertilizing.

This plant is toxic to both pets and humans, so keep out of reach of curious pets and children.
