Meet the Veigated Pink Lemon!
These beautiful citrus plants not only look and smell amazing but bear edible fruit as well. Their skin and flesh have a fascinating character, but the tutti-frutti flavor makes the plant a true stand out. You might expect them to have a pink center but don't be surprised to find they actually have more of a white interior flesh and juice.
Light: Full Sun - a grow light or plant bulb is a great addition for the winter months
Humidity: This can be a large factor in successfully growing citrus plants. Offering your citrus outdoor time for the summer months can be a great addition to their overall health. If you are in a small space humidifiers can be used year-round to offer additional humidity. Humidity trays are a great alternative to a humidifier.
Watering: Citrus prefer to dry down between waterings, we always encourage a moisture meter when taking care of house plants to reduce the risks of over or under watering any plant. If you are on a well it is recommended to rest your water for 24hrs before watering to reduce heavy minerals and other potential water contents that can harm your citrus in the long term.
Fruiting: Self-pollinating
Fertilizer: Only requires fertilizer for the growing months. Specific citrus fertilizers are recommended
