Serviceberry 2G

Serviceberry is a beautiful, native addition to the garden.  Masses of delicate clusters of white flowers in spring, followed by edible fruit in summer, perfect for cooking and preserves.  This specimen is attractive to pollinators, but not so much to deer who tend to leave it alone.  Considered self-pollinating, but higher yields would be expected if a different variety of the same species was nearby.

Great fall colour of orange to rust.
