Everyone is talking about this new dynamic mixed colour strain of Echinaceas and for good reason!  It is the first of its kind offered by seed. 

In our trials, we marvelled at the incredible colour range of these first year-flowering perennials which includes rich shades of tomato red, near-fluorescent orange, magenta, golden yellow, and white. Though the height of each colour varies slightly, they are all very well-branched, bushy plants that fill out the pot nicely and have a high colour impact in the landscape.

Praised for their cheerful brightly coloured flowers, coneflowers are a mainstay in today's garden. Be sure to leave some spent blooms on the plants in the fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter.

How to Grow

Coneflowers like it sunny and hot. Though they will tolerate light shade, fewer flowers will be produced and the plants will be weakened. Light, loamy soils are best but coneflowers will grow in any well-drained soil. Once established, they are quite drought tolerant.
